Eversolo had a massive presence at the show, and in their room, they exhibited their entire line of fantastic music servers, all with clear tops delineating that they are not afraid to show off their construction. For their main system, they were running a pair of Burmester B38 Loudspeakers ($35,000), off of an Eversolo AMP-F10 Amplifier ($2,480), using an Eversolo DMP-A10 Network Player/DAC/Preamp ($3,999), and Eversolo DMP-A8 Network Player/DAC/Preamp ($1,980), with an Eversolo T8 Streaming Transport as source. True Source Audio Distribution were featuring a beautiful AMG Viella Forte Turntable with an AMG Turbo Arm ($36,500) and a Benz Micro LPS Cartridge ($5,000) feeding into a G.I.P. Laboratory Preamplifier 1 ($52,000) and a pair of G.I.P. Laboratory 6L6 Mono Amplifiers ($57,000/pr) to drive G.I.P. Laboratory 225 Horn Loudspeakers ($64,000/pr).

High Water Sound was offering stunning display of epic and unusual looking gear fronted by a TW-Acustic Raven LS-3 Copper Turntable ($25,000) with a TW-Acustic Raven 12.9″ Tone Arm ($7,500) and a TW-Acustic Raven 12″ Tone Arm ($6,500) as well as a Glanz MH-1200S Tonearm ($11,500), fitted with DaVa Soul, Miyabi Labs Fuuga, and Miyajima Labs Infinity Mono Cartridges, connected to an Alieno Phono Extremo ($60,000) and Alieno 100 SE 2A3 Amp ($60,000) driving Cessaro Horn Acoustic Opus SE Limited 1of1 Loudspeakers $65,000).

Wathen Audiophile

AXPONA 2026 - Wathen Audiophile

Offering a unique approach to audiophile sound, Wathen Audiophile employs their Wathen Audiophile CryoTone™ Tube Conditioner Pro ($2,550) in lieu of a preamp to improve dynamic range, this was fed into their new Wathen Audiophile Cryotone 300B Amplifier (TBA) to drive Wathen Audiophile CryoTone Dipole Speakers ($10,699/pr). A Cambridge Audio CXN100 streamer ($1,099) and Roon Nucleus One Server ($909.99) provided source.

SoundCrewe Audio

AXPONA 2026 - SoundCrewe Audio

If you are looking for beautiful, handmade, bespoke speakers, you couldn’t go far wrong with SoundCrewe Audio. In a setup that made swapping speakers easy, they demonstrated their flagship SoundCrewe Audio SC-750 Black Carbon Fiber, Lacquer & Brass Loudspeaker ($48,000/pr), their SoundCrewe Audio SC-450 Series Loudspeaker ($8,500/pr), and their tiny SoundCrewe Audio SC-350 Desktop Loudspeaker ($3,400/pr), which are available in a variety of custom finishes. These were driven by two Emotiva XPA-2 Gen3 Amplifiers ($1,499) from an Emotiva XSP-1 Differential Reference Preamp ($1,199) sourced from an Emotiva ERC-3 CD Player (discontinued) and an Emotiva BASX Ta2+ Preamp/DAC/Tuner ($1,299).

Regular readers will know one of my favorite amplifier manufacturers is ampsandsound, and this year, Justin, an avid fan of the golden age of audio, went all in with his outstanding ampsandsound Seneca 2way Speaker ($15,000/pr) driven to massive output by his ampsandsound Stereo 17 Amplifier ($6,000) patched into an ampsandsound Badlands Preamplifier ($12,000) and ampsandsound Kenzie Reimagined Headphone Amplifier ($6,000) to an ampsandsound DAC 4.4 ($14,000) and a Technics 1300 Turntable ($4,000) fitted with a Denon DL103R Cartridge ($550)
